Once again, the Lincoln 4th of July Foundation is hard at work making plans for another outstanding celebration for our community. We are extremely passionate about this event because it has historically been one of the biggest and most diverse gatherings in our community. This family friendly event attracts thousands of our friends and neighbors annually, partially because there is NO alcohol served and NO cost of admission for attendees. 

As has been the case for the past several years, we are once again relying on corporate sponsors, as well as the generosity of the general public in order to make our event a success. Maintaining our high standard of quality for our annual 4th of July Celebration and fireworks show is very expensive. It costs about $1,000 per minute in pyrotechnics alone, for a show nearly 20 minutes in duration! Additionally, donated funds also contribute towards professional sound equipment, entertainment, a huge kids zone, public services and logistical support. Add these costs up, and the event budget is close to a whopping $90,000!
