Course Content:

Theory:

Legislation, Confined spaces and classifications, Paperwork: Risk Assessment, Point of Work Risk Assessment, Safe System of Work, Rescue Plan, Permit to work, Gas logs, RIDDOR. 

Practical use of:

Gas monitors, Winch, Tripod, Fall Arrest, Harness, Escape Breathing Apparatus (EBA), paperwork

Assessments:

Written question paper, Practical Entry Exercise, Top team exercise

Administration:

Equipment required by delegate:

Protective footwear, helmet, gloves, knee pads, body coverage and clothing for the time of year (2 hrs will be spent outside each day)

Times:

12 August Arrive 0745 hrs to complete paperwork ready for an 0800 hrs start, 30 mins lunch and finish at 1700 hrs

13 August start 0800 hrs, finish slightly earlier

Parking:

Free Parking, however 'PARKING EYE' is in force, all delegates must register their vehicle up on arrival with the monitor screens on the reception counter. Failure to register your vehicle will result in a fine
