Ready to learn to crochet? This is the class for you. Designed for the absolute beginner, come ready to learn how to do basic stitches such as a slip knot, chain and single crochet. You will learn how to read a pattern, the importance of gauge, how to fasten your project off and weave in the ends. You will be well on your way to stitching your headband.

Materials Needed:

*1 skein of light color Super Bulky Weight (size 6) yarn. Dark colors are difficult to learn on so please be sure to pick a light color for the class. Any super bulky weight brand will work, the pattern suggests Bernat Forever Fleece. This Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick is a great substitute if you want more color options.

*1 Size M or 13 (9.0 mm) crochet hook (if you think you are going to continue crocheting it might be wise to purchase a set of hooks in multiple sizes: WeCrochet Expanded Bright Crochet Hook Set or even this set from Amazon are great choices to start out with.

*Yarn needle

*Tape Measure (optional)

Class Size and Refund Policies

If the minimum class size listed in the class description is not met by 3 days before the class start date the class will be cancelled, students will be notified and a full refund will be issued. If you decide you would not like to take the class, refunds will be issued for paid classes only if notified one week before the start of the class. There will be no refunds or make up dates for classes you miss, unless the class was cancelled by me.
