Loose, bulk finished, screened compost. Made from local food scraps and wood chips diverted from the landfill.

Remember that compost and soil are distinct materials. Soil consists of sand, silt, clay and organic matter (which may include finished compost). This is why we don't recommend using our compost alone as a growing medium - its pH level may require additional amendments for optimal plant health.

PICKING UP LOOSE CUBIC YARDS

All loose cubic yard pick-ups must be scheduled in advance and paid in full before pick-up.

After purchase, please EMAIL CHRIS@GREENUMBRELLA.ORG to schedule your pick-up appointment.

All pick-up parameters MUST be met. Your order will NOT be fulfilled if parameters are not met.

Pick-Up Parameters:

• You must sign a waiver of liability (provided upon pick-up).
• Orders will only be loaded into vehicles that are standard pick-up trucks or larger (standard pick-up truck beds maximum of 1 yard per scheduled pick-up).
• Ordered material must be able to be loaded via skid steer and Common Orchard equipment, no shoveling or totes.
• The load must be covered. according to Ohio Transportation Laws

SCHEDULING DELIVERY:

We can deliver up to 5 yards of compost at a time. If you order more than 5 yards, there will be another deliver charge for every 5 yards. Deliver charge is $85 per 5 yards.

Deliveries can be made within the 275 belt loop, if you are outside this, please contact chris@greenumbrella.org to discuss pricing and delivery options.

Your drop off site needs to be accessible by a Ford F-350 dump truck, meaning it needs to be near a road, no one wants to get a truck stuck in your yard. Please make these considerations before calling to schedule the delivery.

Currently not delivering Mon-Wed - Most likely deliveries will be scheduled for Friday, with other options.
