Hear ye, hear ye! The Shasta Historical Society proudly presents the 12th annual "A Taste of History: Midway of Fun, The Place to Be!" Step into a world of vintage carnival magic on Saturday, June 14th, 2025, at Veterans Memorial Hall (1605 Yuba St, Redding, CA 96001). Join us from 6 PM onwards for a night of BIG TOP thrills and historical delights!

Experience the Midway's Wonders:

· Star-Lit Carnival Games: Test your skills with historical-themed games showcasing local history. Win prizes and enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere!

· Costume Cavalcade: Don your finest carnival attire – think vintage strongmen, dazzling showgirls, or classic clowns!

· Midway Munchies & Libations: Indulge in classic carnival treats like popcorn, cotton candy, and savory bites. Enjoy a selection of refreshing drinks, with a VIP option for unlimited beverages through a recurring monthly donation.

· Dutch Raffle: Win amazing prizes, including gift cards, unique experiences, and valuable items, supporting the preservation of our local history.

· Live Entertainment Spectacle: Be dazzled by local talent, including musical performances, captivating acts, and historical reenactments, a true feast for the senses!

This is more than just a party; it's a vital fundraiser! Your support fuels the Shasta Historical Society's programs, including educational initiatives and the modernization of our building for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. This event represents a significant portion of our annual budget, ensuring future generations can experience our remarkable past.

· General Admission: $50 for members, $75 for non-members (includes raffle tickets).

· VIP Unlimited Drinks: $25 recurring monthly donation and recieve a VIP bracelet.
