Meals Fur Pets provides assistance in caring for the pets of older East Texans receiving Meals on Wheels services.

Meals Fur Pets was launched in 2013 as a partnership with Pets Fur People after Meals on Wheels realized that the older and disabled adults we serve were often sharing their home-delivered meals with their pets. Many struggle not only to feed themselves but also their furry companions.

Meals Fur Pets strives to ensure that both the client and their beloved pets are healthy and receiving proper nutrition from appropriate food sources.  We accept bags of dog, puppy, and cat food or monetary donations to support this program.
