Shock Treatment is Richard O’Brien’s often overlooked or forgotten follow up to Rocky Horror Picture Show. Satirizing the consumerism of the 80’s and predicting the mind-melting power of reality TV, taking place entirely within a TV station in Denton, USA (but also the TV station IS Denton), this musical was way ahead of its time.
