Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, yet powerful, form of bodywork that targets the craniosacral system, including the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Through refined touch and presence, CST practitioners can facilitate the release of tension and restrictions, helping clients achieve deep relaxation, relieve pain, and enhance their overall well-being. Over the Course of This Training, You Will: - Explore the Core Principles and Philosophy of CST: Discover the science behind CST, understanding why it effectively addresses the root causes of pain and dysfunction. - Learn to Palpate and Assess the Craniosacral Rhythm: Develop the skill to detect subtle rhythms within the craniosacral system, helping you accurately assess imbalances and track progress. - Gain Knowledge of Craniosacral Anatomy: Understand the cranial and spinal meninges, as well as the fascia, which play a pivotal role in maintaining the body’s equilibrium. - Master Foundational Techniques for Release and Balance: Practice gentle techniques such as Direction of Energy and Still Point Induction, foundational tools that facilitate deep relaxation and healing. - Cultivate Sensitivity and Intuition as a Bodyworker: Refine palpation skills and develop a sensitive, intuitive approach that will enhance your overall practice. - Gain Hands-On Experience with Comprehensive Practice Sessions: Put into practice a structured protocol, with opportunities to refine your technique through personalized feedback from experienced instructors. This class is open to Licensed Massage Therapists and other qualified professionals. Cancellations made between 14 and 29 days before the event will incur a $50 administrative fee deducted from the refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 14 days before the workshop begins. Additionally, no refunds will be provided for same-day cancellations or no-shows.
