Location: The Coffeehouse, 384 Main Street, Quincy, The shop will be open 30 minutes before and during the class for drink and pastry orders.

Registration fee: $52.00 This price includes your decorating kit with icing, cookies, decorating tool and icing.

    -Extra cookies, these are extra cookies to take home and practice your new skills! $15 can be purchased during class. Limited amount available for class purchase.

    -Extra Decorating Kit, a full kit with icing, decorating tool and decorations to take home and practice with. $45 can be purchased at the class. Limited amount available for class purchase.

Join Angela from Angela's Bakery to learn the basics of decorating beautiful sugar cookies for this fun Beginner's Class! Angela will guide you step by step in decorating 5 sugar cookies that you will be able to take home and show off to your friends and family! All supplies are provided in class, all you need to bring is a great attitude and readiness to have fun!

Techniques discussed in this class include:

-Outlining

-Flooding

-2D details

-Royal icing consistencies

-Wet on wet technique

BEGINNER CLASS: All students will leave this class with the basic knowledge of decorating with royal icing, a box to take home your creations, a tips and tricks guide including information on icing consistencies, royal icing, and recipes to show off your newfound skills!

CHILDREN: All are welcome and encouraged to attend this beginner's class. We typically recommend ages 8 and up for these types of classes but if you believe your younger child will be interested and have fun, all ages are welcome. All children under the age of 16, MUST be accompanied by an adult. All participants including children will be asked to purchase the class at full price. We LOVE babies! You are welcome to bring a baby helper as long as they are not taking up a seat at the decorating table. The Coffeehouse has a comfy couch and an upstairs sitting area that is perfect for baby tenders. We do ask that noisy children be taken upstairs or outside so that participants can hear instructions.

CLASS SIZE: is limited. If the class is sold out, you can contact the bakery to go on the waitlist. If we have enough requests, we will turn the waitlist into a second class. If we do not have enough to create a class, you will be next in line if a participant who is unable to attend would like to sell their tickets.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL:. If you cannot attend class, you may transfer your ticket to someone else or use it for an upcoming class. Please let me know as soon as possible so I can update the attendance list. We do have a wait-list, so if you are unable to find someone to transfer your ticket to, let us know, and I can try to pull from that list.

SOLD OUT: The classes have a limited # of seats. If the class is sold out, contact the bakery to be added to the waitlist for our next class.

We reserve the right to cancel or change the event in the case of illness, emergency, or low registrations. If this happens, Angela's Bakery will notify you immediately and class will either be rescheduled or all tickets will be refunded. In the event of inclement weather or an act of God, all registrants will be sent a coupon code to allow them to apply the fees paid for the canceled class toward a future class of their choice.
