Wildflower Fun: Photos + Sketches

Grab your phone camera and join an exploration of our native pollinator gardens. Instructor Lisa Meyers McClintick will share photo tips and lessons in sketching prairie flowers and butterflies and adding watercolors and colored pencil. We’ll have paper and art supplies or bring your own sketchbook to start a nature journal. $35

About the instructor:

Lisa Meyers McClintick is an award-winning writer and photographer, longtime contributor to the Star Tribune and USA Today, and author of the Day Trips from the Twin Cities guidebook. She’s also a teaching artist at The Loft, Paramount Center for the Arts, and other venues with a specialty in nature journaling. She’s been a Minnesota Master Naturalist since 2021.
