There are many types and styles of quilting that can be used to finish our quilts.

Walking Foot quilting, Free Motion quilting with or without stencils, Ruler quilting and hand quilting are just a few of the options available to us.

Very few quilting patterns give any advice on quilting the finished piece.

As a result, quilters are often unsure of where to begin when it comes time to quilt their quilts.

In this hands-on, Virtual Workshop students will start by learning the decision making process to help choose a quilting style and design along with the appropriate threads (top and bottom) needle and batting.

Students will then have an opportunity to present one quilt top for group discussion and begin the quilting process in a relaxed, hands-on portion of the workshop .

Students will receive full, after class support via email to complete their quilt.
