This is an original open-air canvas by kathleen sienna kelly painted on location at pass-a- grille beach, St. Petersburg FL (July 2024). The artist engages the extreme width of this canvas to highlight the expanse and graceful gesture of the Gulf Coast curving down into the sand. The artist was drawn to the almost citrine reflection of clouds in turquoise clear water. On an isolated natural beach, the clouds and on a pristine day were the artist’s companion.

This painting was started in acrylics and finished in studio with oils.
