Come tap your toes and move your feet to the fun music of Canada's East Coast, and Québec! This will be an introduction to: (1) Cape Breton stepdance, from Nova Scotia, and (2) the seated "podorhythmie" foot rhythms of Québec. Everyone is welcome - whether you are a seasoned dancer or have never danced before. Open to all ages. Hard-soled shoes are recommended. and to clarify - Cape Breton dancing is Celtic! This tradition is very closely related to Scottish music and dance. We've also learned a few Cape Breton tunes in our Intro to Celtic class! **No Dance Experience Necessary!!***

From the West Coast of British Columbia, Jocelyn Pettit has delighted audiences and ignited stages across Canada and worldwide, appeared on national television and radio, and released four albums.
