Intermediate + Advanced players are invited to join in a Celtic Ensemble lead by Joanna Clare! This meets for five sessions, (usually) bi-weekly on Wednesdays from 7-8pm. Class dates are: Wed 4/9, 4/23, 4/30, 5/14,+ 5/28. The ensemble class culminates with a Performance on May 28th at Takoma Spark.

Joanna Clare has led workshops at The Philadelphia Folk Festival, The Baltimore Irish Trad Fest, The Maryland Irish Festival, The Philadelphia Ceili Group Festival, and The Irish Weekend 2024 (Ismaning, Germany). She currently teaches privately, as well as for The Baltimore Irish Music School, where she has taught a variety of group and private lessons since the school's revisioning in the fall of 2023 and started teaching at The School of Musical Traditions in January 2025. Besides teaching, Joanna is in the Irish groups Celtic Corridor and The Mount Clare Connection. In 2022, she released her debut album of traditional Irish music called To Keep the Candle Burning.
