IEYT Camp Sessions will be held as follows. Camps are one-week intensives for $385 each. Be sure to choose your session. Grades 3-12 welcome! Ages 8-18. Feel free to sign up for multiple sessions, they're all different and equally fun!

Session 1: July 14-18 (M-F 9am-3pm) at Fred Astaire Dance Studio 2172 Franklin Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302

Session 2: July 21-25 (M-F 9am-3pm) at Mathangi Dance Center 950 West Maple Road Troy, MI 48084

Session 3: August 11-15 (M-F 9am-3pm) at St. Dunstan's Theatre 400 Lone Pine Road Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302

Camp Itinerary and Overview: 

Camp is super fun, it's an intensive one-week training (you can see the bios of the staff on our website and pics of past camps and shows). We sing/dance/act and do improvisational theatre, play games, and basically have a blast. Most days here is our itinerary. From 9-12 noon we have classes (and snack mid-way), 12-1 we lunch and chat (so fun!), 1-3 we rehearse and run items for the show as a group. We get a LOT done, you'll see. 

Students work on monologues, scenes, improvisation, and even playwriting. Music and dance elements include a variety of songs and styles that we collaboratively decide on together to feature the students' best abilities and interests. We have acting/singing/dancing classes and then we work together to build the show in group rehearsals as well. A performance culminates the last day of camp. Snacks are provided each day, and campers bring their own lunch to camp.

We love camp and we love kids, and it shows! We design camp for the total newbie as well as the seasoned actor. The older and/or experienced act at mentors and assistants to the directors while learning their craft at their level. The newbies just have a ton of fun going along for the ride for the first time and getting the theatre "bug" for sure! We add some props, costumes, and such as needed to make the Cabaret Showcase at the end of the week amazing for all. Bring your friends and family.
