​Jason Stropko's small scale studies are guided by his fascination for natural world phenomena and various glass making processes. For his Solid cut, soft pieces #1-#12, the glass begins in a viscous honey-like consistency at 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit in the hot shop. Once sculpted and cooled, each facet is ground, smoothed and polished in a process requiring five steps for each facet...and time. Medium pieces are available in clear, smoky topaz, and blue. (Please inquire for additional photos and to choose your color).
