Beginner and Beginner/intermediate students are invited to join a Celtic group lead by expert teacher/educator + Fiddle player Mari Carlson. Continue your growth with Celtic music and work your way up to being a regular session player. This meets for five sessions, (usually) bi-weekly on Wednesdays from 7-8pm. Class dates are: Wed 4/2, 4/16, 4/30, 5/14, and 5/28. The ensemble class culminates with a Performance on May 28th at Takoma Spark.
Mari is a regular participant in the Irish session Sundays 3-6 at Kirwan’s pub on the Wharf led by Peter Brice and Sam Suplee. She performed with the group at an Irish festival in 2024 in Herndon.
