Michelle's first visit to the African continent was to Ghana in 2023. Among the experiences she cherishes was her visit to the Cedi Bead Factory in the Eastern region, to observe recycled glass bead making. This 12"x12" mixed media canvas features hand-dyed fabrics, stenciled papers, blue glass Cedi Beads, blue bone beads, and hand-crafted Tyvek beads enhanced with fibers surrounding an image of the master bead maker at the factory.
