The Five Cities Orchid Society is excited to announce a workshop on Orchid Roots and Repotting. There will be demonstrations in repotting Epidendrums, Dendrobiums, Phalaenopsis, Cymbidium and Sarcochilus orchids. It's also an opportunity to add some orchids to your collection since all attendees will receive a free orchid seedling that you can pot up yourself and grow. There are two orchid seedlings to choose from: Miltassia Shelob 'Okika', an arachnid-like intergeneric orchid named after the evil spider in JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and Wilsonara Space Mine 'Red Rendevous'.

The workshop is $10 for Five Cities Orchid Society members and $20 for non-members. Pre-registration is required as space and supplies are limited.
