For those unable to visit the Martyrs' Shrine in person, you can specially request a candle be lit by one of our resident Jesuit priests on either yours or a loved one's behalf.

History

Lighting candles has long been a sacred ritual in all traditions, creating precious moments in our own and other people's lives where we pray for loved ones, friends, and ask for or give support.

Suggested Stipend

The suggested stipend or monetary offering of $7.00 serves to signify the sacrificial nature of the Christian life as we offer something of ourselves for the sake of another. Your proceeds assist in supporting the mission of prayer at Martyrs' Shrine.
