The first-ever flange fitting comparison study that Dr. Lisa Anders and I worked on was published in the Journal of Human Lactation on 11/30/24. In order to make it accessible to the world (in hopes that others will be able to duplicate our study or create and even more comprehensive study based on ours...and help convince hospitals, pump manufacturers, and providers to implement changes to support pumping families) we paid to have it be Open Access. Fortunately, Dr. Anders' university paid for part of the payment (University of North Carolina-Greensboro), but we had to pay the rest: $2400.00.
