Learn how to throw on the potter’s wheel! Beginners will learn to make basic forms like cylinders, bowls, vases, plates, mugs, and more on the wheel. Using colored slips and glaze, inlay, texture, and carving you will learn various ways to finish your creations. Students with throwing experience will get one-on-one instruction and help in developing their own personal projects.

Potters Basic tool kit. Can be purchased from us for $20.00 + tax or through an outside source

** IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE : All sales are final. Once registered, if you request to transfer to a different class there will be a $100.00 transfer fee added to your tuition. If you miss a class we may not be able to offer an opportunity to make up the hours. Cancellations within one week of class commencement and/or no-shows will not receive any credit, transfer, or refund. Students should feel comfortable lifting a 25lb bag of clay, working with their hands, and sitting at the potters wheel for extended periods of time.
