The historic Lighthouse stands 82 feet tall. Generations of light keepers and visitors during nearly two centuries have climbed its 94 winding steps, which open up on a small open-air observation deck around the light.

By adopting a step, your contribution will be recognized on a plaque with your name and brief message that will be placed on a board inside the Lighthouse for all visitors to see. A numbered brass plaque will be attached to the actual step you select.
