Hockey Club Fairbanks 14UAA Girls took home First Place in the Pacific District Championships this last weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada! This incredible achievement has earned our team a coveted spot to compete in the USA Hockey National Championships in Coral Springs, Florida April 2-6, 2025. However, the costs of attending this event are significant. In order to make this dream a reality, we are seeking support from our Golden Heart Community. 

This trip represents more than just a game – it’s an opportunity for these young athletes to represent Fairbanks on the national stage, build lifelong memories, and showcase their incredible talent and dedication. They have worked tirelessly to reach this milestone, and we want to ensure that financial barriers don’t stand in the way of their success. 

Here’s how your donation can make a difference:

• $10 – Provides stick and sock tape for the team
• $25 – Covers the cost of a player meal for one athlete
• $50 – Pays for a weight lifting/spin session to keep our athletes in top shape
• $75 – Covers skate sharpening for the team, ensuring peak performance on the ice
• $100 – Fuels a tank of gas for the team van to get us to and from games
• $200 – Covers the cost of a one-night hotel room for a player on the team
• $250 – Funds a team bonding activity, helping the athletes build camaraderie and team spirit
• $350 – Pays for practice ice time, allowing the team to continue training and honing their skills
• $500 – Provides a team meal, fueling our athletes with the energy they need to perform at their best
• $1200 – Covers the cost of one team van rental, getting our athletes to games
• $1700 – Pays the tournament fee for the team to compete at Nationals
