The Forever Quilt Project is dedicated to creating handmade quilts for children who have been in foster care or adopted, giving them something truly their own—forever.

A limited number of quilts will be lovingly crafted and gifted to children through a drawing held on November 1st, 2025, in honor of National Adoption Month—a time to celebrate the journeys of adoptive families and raise awareness for children in foster care.

Families can join the waitlist, and if their child's name is drawn, they will receive a one-of-a-kind quilt, designed with love and care. Those not selected will still be gifted a free portrait session to capture beautiful memories.

Where Your Donations Go

Every donation helps cover the cost of materials needed to create these special quilts. On average, each quilt requires:

• Fabric ($50-$100 per quilt): High-quality cotton, flannel, or minky fabric for warmth and comfort.
• Batting ($20-$40 per quilt): Soft inner lining for durability and coziness.
• Thread & Notions ($10-$20 per quilt): Essential supplies for sewing and assembling the quilt.
• Backing & Binding ($30-$60 per quilt): Finishing touches that ensure each quilt is sturdy and long-lasting.
• Shipping & Packaging ($10-$25 per quilt): Ensuring safe delivery to the child’s home.
