This is the 6th-Annual Friends Winter Expedition from January 1-15, 2025.

Please note: This is a non-guided trip!

Those participants who stay until the end of the trip will be able to join for a complementary banquet after the expedition where you'll be awarded a one-of-a-kind souvenir commemorating the expedition.

Tents, sleds, cooking equipment, food, and fuel is provided. Knowledge of backcountry skiing and ice climbing is required. Having an understanding of snow science is imperative. This trip is a physically demanding expedition. Please make sure you are physically fit.

Participants are expected to arrive in Canmore, Alberta on January 2, 2025. Travel to/from Canmore, Alberta is not included.
